Tamuka was born in 1978 inCheguto, Zimbabwe. He attended High School at St Phillips Secondary school in Guruve, and straight after that,in 1995, he started sculpting. For a few years, he worked as an assistant to EdronceRukoko.In 1998,he joined the Tengenenge Art Community as a full-time artist.
